Once upon a time…

...a trend swept across the pond from the USA to Europe and became firmly established on our roads: big and bulky vehicles – and with them increasing problems with the steering knuckles, which are part of the wheel suspension set-up.

Historically, this safety-relevant vehicle component was considered to be particularly durable. However, in the wake of the US preference for pick-ups and the subsequent widespread popularity of vans and SUVs, along with growing demands for comfort and safety as well as increasingly heavy vehicles, not least due to electric vehicles, this item has since quickly evolved to become a standard product in the spare parts market. The reason for this is that due to the increased vehicle weight, higher forces are exerted on the components, which in turn leads to significantly higher wear and tear and therefore higher demand for these parts.  

Today, our range encompasses around 257 steering knuckles, giving us a coverage of approx. 47.11% of vehicles in Europe, which corresponds to around 175.5 million vehicles. This means that we currently occupy first place in Europe.
